Ibrahim Otun is Chief Information & AI Officer at MGT, where he leads the firm’s technology, data, and artificial intelligence strategy in support of clients in education, government, and the broader public sector. He brings more than two decades of experience leading large-scale technology operations, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and AI-enabled modernization across complex global environments.
Before joining MGT, Ibrahim earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and spent 26 years at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Global Director of Technology Operations and Digital Experience. In that role, he led a distributed organization of more than 150 professionals supporting over 120,000 endpoints across multiple practices and regions, driving improvements in service reliability, user experience, operational efficiency, and technology enablement through automation and AI. He has deep expertise in IT transformation, enterprise service operations, shared governance, and the deployment of AI and data capabilities at scale.
At MGT, he is focused on strengthening the firm’s technology foundation, advancing cybersecurity and data governance, and embedding responsible AI into the services MGT delivers to clients. He is committed to building high-performing teams and scalable platforms that improve outcomes, enable innovation, and support MGT’s mission-driven work.
