As a technical service provider, MGT has closely and strategically collaborated with teachers and leaders from within our district to analyze data, identify strengths and opportunities for improvement within the lowest performing student subpopulations, and develop plans for implementation with a narrow focus on the highest impact levers. MGT closely collaborates to build capacity of educators, progress monitor goals, and adjust course, as needed.
MGT’s approach was highly collaborative, and the team demonstrated a deep understanding of the industry and the latest technology trends. Sufficient guidance was given to implement the IT Strategic Roadmap successfully, and their ongoing support will be invaluable in ensuring that we continue to meet our technology goals.

Higher eds are exposed to more sophisticated cyber-attacks through student hackers trying to leak tests, so they prefer to hire MSPs that have higher expertise and can offer 24/7 monitoring and response.
ORCA experienced a significant security event where a firewall misconfiguration led to an opportunity for bots on the internet to launch a brute force attack against the exposed service in an attempt to gain unauthorized access. Thanks to the Rapid 7 solution and MGT’s 24×7 SOC, the attack was detected and the firewall rule was disabled. The security event logs collected in Rapid 7 IDR allowed ORCA to confirm that none of the login attempts during the brute force attack were successful.
We are confident that this will serve as a roadmap to ensure that we are navigating a course that eliminates any barriers for M/WBEs to successfully enter the business sector in our city.
