Alexander (Zan) Donovan is a seasoned education industry leader with over 15 years of experience spanning K-12, higher education, and workforce development. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Academic Transformation at MGT, Zan is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of transformative academic initiatives. He brings a wealth of expertise in growth strategy, product management, and organizational transformation, with a proven ability to drive results in complex, high-growth environments. Zan has a strong background in managing large teams, developing and executing strategic plans, and delivering on key business objectives.
Before joining MGT, Zan held leadership roles at Wiley, where he was Vice President of Product Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO. He also led significant strategic initiatives, including overseeing a $400M portfolio and managing high-impact strategic partnerships. Zan’s career has also seen success as a senior consultant at EY-Parthenon, where he led consulting engagements focused on education and workforce strategy. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where he was recognized for his leadership and academic achievements.
