JERE BAXTER MIDDLE SCHOOL

In 2024, Jere Baxter received level 5 TVAAS growth in multiple categories. They also achieved a 25% reduction in discipline incidents. Due to this recent growth and achievement, the school has earned a “C” rating for the first time in more than five years.
LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
(Madison-Jackson Public Schools)
For SY23, Lincoln moved from a level 1 to a level 5 in growth after implementing consistent, positive behavior practices, data-driven instructional practices, and increasing student engagement opportunities.
TREZEVANT HIGH SCHOOL
(Memphis-Shelby Schools)
In the 2021-22 school year, Trezevant met the state-required graduation rate of 67% for the first time in more than a decade. In the 2022-23 school year, the graduation rate increased to 70% Trezevant met the exit criteria in 2023.
HAWKINS MILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
(Memphis-Shelby Schools)
Between 2020 and 2022, chronic absenteeism at Hawkins Mill dropped from 29.2% to 13.6%. Hawkins Mill met Tennessee’s exit criteria in 2022 and was even listed as a Reward School, the state’s designation for schools that show strong growth.
